Updated: Jun 8, 2022

AFTER premiering on 4K digital in December 2019, Lionsgate Home Entertainment is finally releasing the physical 4K disc of “The Hurt Locker” on February 22, as an exclusive Best Buy Steelbook.

The action-packed war thriller won six Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director – Kathryn Bigelow, and Best Original Screenplay – Mark Boal.

Staff Sgt. William James (Jeremy Renner), Sgt. J.T. Sanborn (Anthony Mackie) and Specialist Owen Eldridge (Brian Geraghty) are members of a bomb-disposal unit in Baghdad. As their tour of duty enters its final weeks, the men face a set of increasingly hazardous situations, any of which could end their lives in an explosive instant.
