OFFICIAL: Marvel’s “Black Widow” arrives on 4K Ultra HD – Sept. 14

MARVEL STUDIOS’ “Black Widow” will arrive on digital 4K for purchase on August 10 and physical 4K Ultra HD on September 14.

After a 15-month delay the long-awaited “Black Widow” finally hit theaters and Disney+ earlier this month and the box office results have been good compared to pre-pandemic days hitting $314 million worldwide at this point. Marvel did reveal that “Black Widow” made $50 million on its first weekend on Disney+ Premier as an extra $29.99 surcharge to its subscribers, which was an obvious hit to the U.S. box office making $80 million.

Overall critics and audiences have given “Black Widow” high marks hitting 81 percent with critics and 92 percent from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

Video: Captured on 8K, 6K, and 4K digital cameras (2.39:1 aspect ratio) IMDb says it's mastered in 4K, but I saw it theatrically and it didn’t seem that sharp to my eyes. It will feature HDR10 for the physical 4K and Dolby Vision for digital 4K.
