A nice surprise Eastwood’s “Cry Macho” gets a 4K Ultra HD release – 11/5 (digital) and (disc) 12/7

HOT 4K NEWS

WARNER BROS. HOME ENTERTAINMENT has announced the upcoming 4K Ultra HD release of Clint Eastwood’s most recent film “Cry Macho” based on the novel by N. Richard Nash and stars Eastwood and newcomer Eduardo Minett. It will arrive on 4K digital on November 5 and the 4K physical disc on December 7.

This year marks the 50th year of Eastwood’s partnership with Warner Bros. and “Cry Macho” was produced by Eastwood, Albert S. Ruddy, Tim Moore, and Jessica Meier, with David M. Bernstein executive producing.

The American neo-Western takes place in 1979, as Mike Milo (Clint Eastwood), a one-time rodeo star and washed-up horse breeder, takes a job from an ex-boss (Dwight Yoakam) to bring the man’s young son (Eduardo Minett) home from Mexico. Forced to take the backroads on their way to Texas, the unlikely pair faces an unexpectedly challenging journey, during which the world-weary horseman finds unexpected connections and his own sense of redemption.
