JUST IN TIME for the theatrical reboot of "Charlie Angels" (2019), from writer/director Elizabeth Banks and stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment plans to release the original (2000) on October 22.
A 4K scan of the original camera negative will be the source for the new 4K master, which will includes an exclusive Dolby Atmos audio track and the original theatrical 5.1 audio.
The captivating crime-fighting trio includes Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu as the masters of disguise, espionage and martial arts. When a devious mastermind embroils them in a plot to destroy individual privacy, the Angels, aided by their loyal sidekick Bosley (Bill Murray), set out to bring down the bad guys. But when a terrible secret is revealed, it makes the Angels targets for assassination.
