Sony’s Marvel Universe adventure “Morbius” arrives on 4K digital 5/17 and disc 6/14


AFTER Sony Pictures made a ton of money with the mega-blockbuster “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which unseated James Cameron’s sci-fi epic “Avatar” to become the third-highest grossing domestic release in history.

Its latest Marvel offering “Morbius,” struggled to find an audience in theaters, has now been scheduled for a home purchase or rental release. It will hit digital 4K on May 17 and physical 4K disc on June 14.

It's advertised as one of the most compelling and conflicted characters in Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first, it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?
