LIONSGATE HOME ENTERTAINMENT continues its trend to bypass physical 4K discs for their classic catalog titles. This week Lionsgate released director Steven Soderbergh’s modern-day film noir "The Limey: 20th Anniversary Edition" on 4K Ultra HD digital, with no sign of a 4K disc in the pipeline.

On February 4, 2020, Kathryn Bigelow’s Academy Award winner "The Hurt Locker," which took home six Oscars (Best Picture, Best Directing, Best Writing [Original Screenplay], Best Film Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing), gets the exclusive 4K digital homecoming. More likely released on all six digital platforms.

Remixed in Dolby Atmos by Academy Award winner Paul N.J. Ottosson (part of the team responsible for "The Hurt Locker’s" Best Sound Editing/Best Sound Mixing wins) for home entertainment, and considered one of the best war films of the last 20 years. Its stars Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty, Evangeline Lilly, with Ralph Fiennes, David Morse, and Guy Pearce.
