“Doctor Sleep: Director’s Cut” includes 30-minutes of new footage on 4K Ultra HD - Feb. 4

Updated: Jun 8, 2022

40 YEARS after Danny Torrance's terrifying stay at the Overlook Hotel in “The Shining,” director Mike Flanagan continues the story with "Doctor Sleep" based on the novel by Stephen King.

Still irrevocably scarred by the trauma he endured as a child at the Overlook, Dan Torrance (Ewan McGregor) has fought to find some semblance of peace. But that peace is shattered when he encounters Abra (Kyliegh Curran), a courageous teenager with her own powerful extrasensory gift, known as the "shine."

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release the 4K digital version on January 21, 2020, and the physical 4K disc on February 4.
