20TH CENTURY Studios’ will release David O. Russell’s crime caper “Amsterdam” on 4K digital on November 11 and physical 4K disc on December 6.
With an all-star cast including Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldaña, Rami Malek and Robert De Niro, the story is set in 1933, when three close friends who find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.
An oddity in Russell’s (“American Hustle,” “The Fighter,” “Silver Linings Playbook”) career the film was not a critical favorite – only hitting 35 percent on the Rotten Tomatoes site, while audiences gave it 62 percent.
