Credited with creating a re-birth of interest in African culture, style and history, “Black Panther” explores what it means to be black in modern day life. It directly confronts issues – both good and bad – with a blend of action, passion and humor.

Chadwick Boseman plays the King of Wakanda, T’Challa, who is called “Black Panther” by his people. His superhero abilities are the result of science developed in a long-hidden, technically advanced African nation. Conflict arrives through his cousin, Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), who wants to use Wakanda’s power to change global dynamics through full-on war. T’Challa must decide whether to keep Wakanda’s secrets in protective isolation or share its abundance with the world.
